Risk Management & Fraud Prevention Policy — Version 1.0

This document describes the risk checks and fraud prevention controls implemented by VEMRE to protect customers, contractors, banking partners, and payment processors.
A designated Compliance/Risk Officer oversees risk assessments, fraud monitoring, chargeback management, and policy enforcement.
Flagged transactions are reviewed by the Risk/Compliance Officer. Additional documentation may be requested. Transactions may be approved, declined, refunded, delayed, or accounts restricted based on investigation findings.
Risk reviews, fraud investigations, transaction logs, and dispute documentation are retained for at least five (5) years or longer if required by law or contractual obligations.
This policy is reviewed at least annually and updated when business operations, regulations, or processor requirements change.
